This elegant mixed set of crystal glasses was found at an estate sale. They have a floral pattern in relief engraving. Along with the glasses there is a handwritten letter tracing the history of the glasses. According to the letter they had originally been ordered and special made as wedding gifts for the 3 daughters of Dr. Charles Lauterwasser, in law of the family owned Czech glass factory. In all 120 glasses were made, 40 for each girl. These 14 are very likely the only ones left. The letter traces the history and succession of owners. We found that the last owners on record were Madeline and Richard Bogaert in Sarasota FL. Madeline was a niece of one of the original owners of the glassware. There are 4 water glasses. 6 1/2″ tall x 2 3/4″ across the top. There are 6 wine glasses 5 1/2″ tall x 2 1/2″ across top. There are 2 sherbet glasses. 5 3/4″ tall x 33 1/2″ tall x 1 1/2 across top.
