This is a stunning, highly decorative set of 12 vintage multi-colored crystal wine glasses (traditionally known as “hock” glasses or roemers). They are crafted in the classic Bohemian (or Czech) cut-to-clear style, where a brightly colored layer of glass is masterfully hand-cut to reveal the sparkling clear crystal underneath. Design/Pattern: The bowls feature a traditional and highly sought-after “Grape and Leaf” (often referred to as Traube) pattern, intricately decorated with frosted grape clusters, trailing vines, and deep crisscross/diamond cuts around the lower bowl. They rest on elegantly faceted, hexagonal stems and feature starburst/fan cuts radiating across the foot. Colors Included: A gorgeous “harlequin” mix of 1 2 glasses in vibrant jewel tones. The set includes variations of Cobalt Blue, Ruby/Cranberry Red, Emerald Green, Amethyst/Purple, and Amber/Yellow. Condition: Excellent Vintage Pre-owned Condition.
