All the 6 crystal glasses are crafted In Ireland and have the etched Waterford marks on the base. Each pings nicely when tapped. The crystal is super shiny, clear, and in Pristine (LIKE NEW) Condition: No chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration, water stains, or cloudiness. In 1788, Waterford produced a glassware service as a gift to her Majesty, Charlotte Sophia, wife to King George III. The King and Queen were so charmed by the crystal service that they ordered the set to be displayed at Cheltenham castle. Today, the name Waterford is synonymous with fine quality crystal.
