For your consideration, we have one rare boxed set of French Cristal Sevres Chenonceaux Colored Wine Glasses. The set contains 6 beautiful, hand-made, fine colored crystal glasses 8-5/8″ high with a 3-1/2″ diameter opening. The upper 1/3, or so, of the wine glass is stained in one of six colors (see photos) then fluted on the exterior of the bowl using the cut-to-clear method for a gorgeous and substantial wine glass. Each wine glass weighs approximately 21 oz. And has “Cristal Sevres France” etched into the glass on the bottom below the stem. The set of six glasses are boxed in their original dark blue Cristal Sevres box which is labeled on the exterior. The base of the box is wrapped in the original plastic wrapping which also covered the glasses on the interior of the box. The plastic covering the glasses on the interior has been torn (at a prior time), but not removed, to allow access to the glasses, however, inspection of the glasses appears to indicate that the glasses were never used. The glasses are free of visible scratches, chips, or other blemishes. The glasses are in like-new condition. The box is also in excellent shape (except for the plastic covering the glasses on the interior of the box) and has the original foam insert to protect the glasses inside the box top. The glasses have been carefully cleaned. These are truly impressive wine glasses reflecting the fine artistic vision and great technical expertise of Cristal Sevres artisans!
