No chips, breaks or no major flaws noted except for a tiny flea bite on the rim of one of the shorter glasses. 8 58″ tall ice bucket to the handle top, 4 7/8″ tall to the rim, 4 3/4″ rim to rim, 3 3/4″ across the bottom ice sickle crown design bottom. The six matching large glasses are 5 1/4″ tall, 3″ rim to rim, 2 across the bottom. The matching four small glasses are 3 1/4″ tall, 3″ rim to rim2 1/4 across the bottom. 6 pounds 4oz weight all together.

This is a rare vintage set of nine Avitra crystal shrimp cocktail chillers from the 1960s. Handmade in Bulgaria, each chiller is 5.25″ tall with a 10 oz capacity and a 3.75″ diameter. Pattern: Tyrone (Cut) by Waterford Crystal. All glasses have the etched Waterford marks, Crafted In Ireland. Each pings nicely when tapped. The crystal is super shiny and clear and in PRISTINE (LIKE NEW) Condition. They may have never been used. No chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration, water stains, or cloudiness. In 1783, George and William Penrose opened the Flint Glass Works in Ireland. In 1788, Waterford produced a glassware service as a gift to her Majesty, Charlotte Sophia, wife to King George III. The King and Queen were so charmed by the crystal service that they ordered the set to be displayed at Cheltenham castle. Today, the name Waterford is synonymous with fine crystal. Rare opportunity to acquire a large, exquisite set of Royal Doulton “Carlyle” crystal. Some of the finest stemware ever made! Handmade in England and the U. Goblets/glasses with a timeless handmade crosshatch design. The “Carlyle” crystal pattern is vintage/discontinued. It was once presented as the companion to Royal Doulton “Carlyle” fine china. 12 place settings, 48 pieces. Each place setting has 4-pieces: water, wine, iced tea, and champagne. All glasses are in Excellent to Mint condition. Plus 18 additional pieces. 4 cordials (one has a smoothed rim nick; fine for use). 1 wine (has a smoothed rim nick; fine for use). All glasses are in Excellent to Mint condition except the two noted. Iced Tea Goblets, approx. Some glasses have original label glue residue, which should easily wash off. Because stemware is handmade, similar pieces may vary in dimension and weight. Some vintage Royal Doulton marketing material also included. From smoke free home.
