8 Piece “Candlewick” Pattern Vintage Crystal Champagne or Cocktail Bubble Stemware #3400 from the Imperial Glass Co. Of Ohio, USA in Excellent Condition. Manufactured from 1936 to 1984 by the Imperial Glass Company of Ohio, Candlewick Glassware is an elegant and iconic pattern that’s easy to identify because of its distinctive beaded glass bubble design that forms the stem (the name comes from a style of needlework based on the embroidered French knot made on unbleached cotton muslin popular in colonial times, hence, the name “Candlewick” was created in 1936). A gorgeous, complete set of eight, 4 oz. Champagne or cocktail glasses with excellent clarity that are made of fine quality crystal using smooth glass. Elegant clear stemmed glasses with lightweight bodies that have a flat round base, flared tops and feature the fabulous “Candlewick”, beaded glass bubble design throughout!
