He took a sledgehammer to the mold from Waterford’s popular Millennium Collection at Marshall Field’s Oak Brook store. T marks the first time a Waterford crystal mold has been broken. This is a departure from the tradition that Waterford never discontinues a pattern. Due to the nature of hand blown and hand cut crystal there will be slight variations from glass to glass. All sizes are approximant and each glass may have a slight variation in weight. Air bubbles can appear in hand blown glass and are not considered a flaw.
