This beautiful set of 6 Glasses are made by Louie Crystal-Weston Glass and are the Amethyst Iced Tea LGL1 with Clear Stem and Foot. These glasses were made in 1932 and were discontinued in 1940 and are in Excellent Condition, please see above. This set is Gorgeous and I have scoured the internet to find this color anywhere and I cannot find an example of it at all! The Color each so rich and has a Flared Bowl and hold 12 Ounces of your favorite Cocktail! They measure 6 5/8″ tall and 3 1/4″ wide. Founded by Austrian native Louie Wohinc and fellow immigrant glass workers, the firm was one of several related Weston-area glass companies. Louie Wohinc died in 1950. In 1978, Louie Glass became a subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive. The company changed ownership several times, but kept the Louie Glass name alive until the late 1990s.
