This lovely 8 piece Vanity set was made by Val Saint Lambert , the Belgian famous crystal glass factory. The color is a vibrant green and the pattern is crisp and well defined. Ca 1920 largest bottle is 17 cm height to have an idea , it is a standard set at 1stdibs dealers ask for the same set with less pieces 1400 usd as it is pretty rare colour and set to find a few pieces are marked with val st lambert belgique engraved in the bottom , some not marked as VSL did not mark all their pieces. An early 1900s ladies vanity set of 9 pieces in amethyst glass cut to clear in a floral garland around each piece. The set includes: 2 candle holders, 2 stoppered cologne flacons, one lidded large cream jar, 2 small lidded cream jars, one ring caddy and a tray. Candle holders 8″ high, 3″ diameter at base, 1.5diameter at the top. Stoppered cologne flacons 2″ diameter, 6.5″ high. Large cream jar 3″ diameter, 4.25″high. Small cream jars 3″diameter, 3.5″ high. Ring caddy 3.5″diameter, 3.5″high. Tray 11.5″ long, 8.5″wide, 1.25high. This item is preowned with light wear. The tray has 1 fracture chip in the rim and 2 small dings as seen in the photos. The mirror measures 14 inches and has no glass. The brush measures 10 inches. 2½ by 2½ inches wide and 6 inches high. The round covered powder jar measures 4½ inches wide and 2½ inches high. Condition is good with the exception of the glass in the mirror. If there is a reason that you need longer just let us know. This will typically be sent when a set of like items (dinnerware pattern for example) completes for the day. We exclusively use the postal service and would prefer not to use a different carrier.
