Set of 4 Waterford Crystal. Ballybay / Bunclody Brandy Snifters, MIB. Offered today is this boxed set of four (4) Waterford Crystal Ballybay / Bunclody Brandy Snifter / Glass / Balloon. These Snifters are new. I do not believe that they have ever actually been used. As these are vintage pieces that were Made in Ireland , we also know that they have a higher lead content than pieces being made currently, 33% vs. Held side by side, you can feel the difference. Each Snifter is 5.25 in height with a 3 base. This is a great opportunity to make these classics yours. Do not let them get away. I have hunted all over the place to find more information about this pattern. Waterford itself had them in open production from 2004 to 2008. They are now a special order meaning that it could take from 2 weeks to 6 months for them to run a production of them. Carries the line but they do not currently have any of the Balloons like these. Mind you, that is for pieces with known imperfections. In most cases, these pieces work very well with older or frequently used sets! And these can be yours for a fraction of what either of the afore mentioned places are asking.
