All of these glasses have the etched Waterford marks, Crafted In Ireland. Each pings nicely when tapped. The crystal is super shiny and clear and in PRISTINE Condition: No chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration, water stains, or cloudiness. They may have never been used or only used minimally. In 1783, George and William Penrose opened the Flint Glass Works in Ireland. In 1788, Waterford produced a glassware service as a gift to her Majesty, Charlotte Sophia, wife to King George III. The King and Queen were so charmed by the crystal service that they ordered the set to be displayed at Cheltenham castle. Today, the name Waterford is synonymous with fine crystal.
