Waterford Crystal, the 1st series of the 12 Days of Christmas ornaments from 1978 thru 1995. These are in very good condition with no nicks, chips, or cracks. 12 Days of Christmas paperwork included with the 12 from that series. Some green & gold Waterford stickers are still attached (the 1994 sticker is very loose). Acid-etched with the vintage Gothic Waterford hallmark. The bags are clean and nice with 1979 thru 1983 appropriately dated. Some have faded more than others although it could be paint loss from lint rollers. The box hinges are nice & tight with the exception of 2 or 3 slightly loose. The worst is pictured and when picked up by the top, opens about 3/8. Both 1994 & 1995 have final edition boxes. With these ornaments (as well as with all hand-blown glass and crystal) it is common to see seeds, cords, dimples, etc. Both on the surface as well as within. They feel smooth but if you look at them from an angle, you can see the anomalies, they’re not defects, just part of the early blowing & finishing process. Starting about 1986 something must have changed in their finishing process because the ornaments began to have fewer of the anomalies. Around 1996, the enhanced finishing process all but eliminated most of these. Continental United States only. My items are clean and free of dust or adhesive residue; they’re ready to use.
