Heisey Glass SET (7) Lancaster #481 Etch English Hunt Art Deco Crystal Tumblers. Soda glasses / tumblers from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The glasses were produced as part of Heisey’s “Lancaster” line of crystal tableware No. 481 etch which was introduced in 1937. The glasses feature a striking Art Deco take on a vintage English huntsman atop a handsome horse. The deep cut etch is well executed with crisp detail to stylized horse, rider and grassy ground. The glasses show excellent clarity and are highlighted with a diamond optic. The pieces are a nice highball size measuring 5 3/8″ high and 2 7/8″ across the top rim. The bases are embossed with the Heisey diamond “H” mark. ALL SEVEN are in excellent condition with no damage. These very hard-to-find Lancaster tumblers would make a great addition to any collection of 1930’s Heisey / Elegant Depression glassware or Hunt / Equestrian themed bar setting.
