SAME is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the town of Montelupo Fiorentino, a name that promptly evokes a major experience in the history of the so-called “minor” Italian arts such as the manufacturing of ceramic objects and artistic complements. It’s as if talent and handcrafting expertise were in the DNA of these Tuscans, born in a place where the wheel and colours are an intimate part of the landscape with its numerous stores and workshops that mingle with other “modern” activities. On this territory SAME Decorazione was established in 1976 thanks to Giovanni Costoli, the soul of a company which, despite its increasing success, has maintained intact over time the simple solid philosophy of the family-run business. Today Giovanni’s son Marco leads the company’s business both nationally and internationally putting as much passion and enthusiasm into his work as his father did, proposing the creations born out of the hands of “his” decorators.
