Each flute measures Heigth10.2, Diameter 3.2, holds 6oz. First appearing in 1982, Waterford Crystal 12 days of Christmas ornament series was available one per season until until the collection was completed. Waterford paid tribute to this legacy and featured the original 12 days of Christmas design to grace collectible champagne flutes. Introduced in 2005 and was available through the year 2010, at which time these legendary designs were again placed in the esteamed Waterford archives. When released two flutes each year were introduced for six years. Excellent condition with no signs of wear as they were only use once and that was a couple of the flutes. Each flute host an etching of each one of the gifts given from her true love from the 12 days Christmas story. There are 12 coordinating charms for each flute. These are absolutely gorgeous! Each one is cut from a different pattern. Partridge in a pear tree released in 2005 cut in the Claire pattern. Two turtledoves released in 2005 cut in the Alana pattern. Three French hens released in 2006 cut in the Araglin pattern. Four calling birds released in 2006 cut in the Powercourt pattern. Five golden rings released in 2007 cut in the Maureen pattern. Six geese are lying released in 2007 cut in the Rosslare pattern. Seven swans a swimming released in 2008 cut in the Kenmare pattern. Eight maids are milking released in 2008 cut in the Tramore pattern. Nine ladies dancing released in 2009 cut in the Eileen pattern. Ten lords are leaping released in 2009 cut in the Glenmore pattern. Eleven pipers piping released in 2010 cut in the Colleen pattern. Twelve drummers drumming released in 2010 cut in the Lismore pattern. The box shows some wear due to its age but overall is in good condition. There are two layers, each holding 6 flutes with a layer of red foam piece between the two layers and one on top. The box has a ridge half way up that the top tray rest so not to sit directly on the flutes. Great design and such a addition to any Christmas Service. All items are from a smoke free environment.
