This listing offers a set of exquisitely engraved Pairpoint cocktail glasses with original inserts. This set was designed for serious entertaining OR for someone who wants their china cabinet to appear as if they are a serious entertainer! Imagine placing these at strategic locations on a buffet table, counter, or snack bar – yum. Each footed server is engraved in Pairpoint’s Barrington pattern (see book picture) and comes with a crystal insert for cocktail sauce. Most of the glass bowls have Pairpoint’s signature bowl bump and all have a perfectly polished pontil on the footed base. Condition is excellent – no chips, cracks, rough edges, or repair. We estimate these glasses were produced in the 1920’s when Pairpoint was meeting the nation’s demand for high quality, hand engraved, glass. The bases do show age appropriate wear that is best seen under magnification or reflected light (where the base comes in contact with a shelf). Each glass measures approximately 4-1/2 inches tall and 5 inches across the opening. This listing offers a complete set of 4 cocktail glasses with matching inserts.
